Welcome To Howard L. Turner Post 276 Website

Founded in 1956, The Howard L. Turner Post 276 of the American Legion is located in Severn Maryland. The post was named after Private First Class Howard L. Turner raised near the town of Severn Maryland. PFC Turner was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 31, 1951.

    If you are currently on active duty, serving the United States honorably, or have served honorably during any of the eligible war eras, we invite you to become a member of The American Legion Post 276.

  • Celebrate New Year's Eve at The Post!! 
    Join us on December 31st at Post 276 for New Year's Eve.  Champagne Toast @ Midnight, Party Favors and Fried Chicken will be provided.  Bring a Covered Dish to Share.  Time: 7:30pm to 1:30am.
