Howard L. Turner Post 276 proudly serves veterans, their families, and the Severn community through fellowship, patriotism, and continued service.

Founded in 1956, The Howard L. Turner Post 276 of the American Legion is located in Severn, Maryland. The post was named after Private First-Class Howard L. Turner, raised near the town of Severn, Maryland. PFC Turner was killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 31, 1951.

Our members continue to support veterans, youth, and community programs while honoring those who served our nation.
